Lindy Segall is convinced each and every one of us can become a better public presenter, regardless of age, experience or level of stage fright. As co-founder of “Professionally Speaking,” Lindy is best known for a relentless dedication to helping folks express themselves clearly and authentically, while telling a memorable story.

Once dubbed an excitement junkie, he has been involved in founding six successful business enterprises over the past thirty years. During that time, he claims to have discovered a pleasant balance between making a living…and making a difference. His marquee clients include GSD&M, Dell, Motorola/Freescale and 3M Corporation. He’s taught executive level classes at UT Austin, St. Edward’s and Texas Christian University with highest ratings.

The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce named him “Professional of the Year,” the Advertising Society’s “Best Speaker” and the Association for Women in Communications their “Mentor of the Year.” Lindy is humbled by the kudos from his peers, but considers his greatest reward when a client simply says, “AHA!”

Lindy decided to celebrate three decades of professional practice (he maintains “it’s ALL practice”) by moving to the small town of Hye (population 25) this past year, along with his paint quarter horse, two border collies and a donkey named Pancho. Together, they manage a small hay field and cattle operation, affectionately dubbed “Hye Heaven @ Capstone Ranch.” He is sub-teaching at the local high school and loving it!  He is also writing a book about his experiences, coaching winning presentations, completing a screenplay honoring his late Mom’s flying corps of WWII and preparing new keynotes to share the wisdom he has gleaned with audiences across the Texas Hill Country.

Living out on the open range, Lindy has a new appreciation for his old Eagle Scout motto: “Be Prepared….for Anything!”
